Drumstick curry

Ingredients

Drumstick – 10

Red chilly – 3

Onion – 1

Tomato – 3 medium

Garlic -6 pods

Curry leaves – few

Homemade masala powder – 1 tbsp

Coconut milk – ½ cup

Turmeric powder  - 1 tsp

Salt as needed

Cleaning drumstick

Split the drumstick into two halves. Scrap off the flesh using the spoon and keep aside

Preparation

Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard

Add red chilly, curry leaves and garlic. Sauté for a minute

Add onion and cook till it becomes translucent

Add tomato and cook till it become mushy

Add turmeric powder, salt, homemade masala powder. Sauté for a minute

Add cleaned drumstick fleshwith ¼ cup of water. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Next add coconut milk. Cook till everything blends together.

Note:

While scrapping make sure no drumstick is scrapped off with the flesh.
