Ragi or finger millet which has the high source of calcium and protein. From the earlier days its considered as the nutritional food for both kids and adults. Ragi which is mostly used in flour form has now taken a new verion as semiya for past few years. Usually I make a spicy version Ragi semiya vegetable upma and in sweet verion its Ragi semiya puttu.

Ragi semiya – 1 cup
Grated coconut – 3 tbsp
Jaggery – 2 tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Elachi powder – ½ tsp
